Job Summary

The Insurance Director of ACA and Medicare Sales is responsible for leading and driving revenue growth by overseeing the tele sales team, broker relations, and marketing operations. This role focuses on developing and executing strategies, building and maintaining broker and client relationships, and aligning marketing initiatives with organizational goals. The Sales Director will work towards their efforts in finding the best independent agent partners. The Sales Director will work with their team to ensure continual and sustainable growth is occurring. Emulate the culture of Keystone and coach their teams to ensure that we are capitalizing on every opportunity. They will be the eyes and ears of the team to ensure that the Broker Relations department is proactive in identifying future needs and asks in the market. The responsibilities are to ensure our company attracts and retains the best agent partners while growing a strong pipeline.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Managers through vision casting, coaching, and collaboration.
• Manage the internal Tele-Sales Manager and team to meet sales goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create campaigns that support sales goals.
• Develop sales strategies for the external and/or internal sales agents within assigned markets/region.
• Meet or exceed production goals by providing support and expertise to marketing managers for the purpose of department goal attainment.
• Mentor agents to improve sales processes to identify ways and means to increase agent’s business with existing and new clients.
• Develop rapport and working relationships with carrier’s market managers in assigned territories to generate production opportunities for to drive and generate sales.
• Use data and analytics to assess the performance of sales initiatives and adjust strategies.
• Prepare and present detailed sales reports to senior leadership.
• Create new recruiting strategies and support the creation of recruitment documents.
• Some domestic travel related to industry events.

• Assist with training and credentialing for external sales agent.
• Support and assist in development of annual sales budget.
• Remain knowledgeable with the inevitable changes of the insurance market and learn latest information.
• Responsible for acting in accordance with and comply with all departmental & company policies in relation to things such as Compliance program, Medicare programs, etc.
• Other duties as assigned or requested based on company needs.

Qualifications

Must have prior insurance knowledge

• Experience working with Medicare, ACA, and other Senior insurance products.

• College degree preferred.

• Computer and internet proficiency, especially proficiency with Microsoft Office

• An aptitude for learning, coaching, and persuasion

• 5+ years of Healthcare & Insurance sales experience

• Proficient communication in English (verbal and written); excellent grammar and spelling; some occasional domestic travel may be required for insurance industry events.

• Bilingual preferred

• 3+ years of experience working with a CRM (Customer Relations Management system)

• Fluency in additional language(s) is helpful to expand marketing capabilities.
