Keystone Advisors is a growing, small business in Houston, TX . We focus on helping insurance agents and agencies grow their businesses and market senior health products. This role recruits and communicates directly with independent insurance agents and agencies across the country to build their businesses with senior market products, U65 Market, secures contracts for those products, provides customer service, and develops fruitful, long-term business relationships.

We are looking for a Recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience, to assist our recruiting efforts in finding the best independent agent partners.

A successful recruiter will collaborate with the broker relations department team on a regular basis and proactively identify future needs. You should also be able to attract independent agents using various sources, like social media networks and agent referrals. Our ideal recruiters have the skills of salespeople and headhunters.

Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, and retains the best agent partners, while growing a strong pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting agents by initiating calls or various communication channels for the purpose of introducing Keystone Advisors services and securing carrier contracts with agents
  • Build positive relationships with new agents and further develop relationships with existing agents for the purpose of expanding contracts and sales with those agents
  • Provide personalized service to agents,, including explaining various insurance products available, solving problems that may arise, and determining what marketing support is needed
  • Identifying ways and means to increase agent’s business with existing and new clients
  • Develop rapport and working relationships with carrier market managers in assigned territories
  • Creating new recruiting strategies

  • Creating recruitment documents

  • Posting agent opportunists on various channels

  • Outbound and inbound recruiting calls

  • Creating relationships with independent agents and provide advice

  • Finding independent agents and foster long-term relationships

  • Employing recruiting methods to attract independent agents

  • Sourcing independent agents using databases, social media etc.

Basic Job Requirements:

  • College degree preferred
  • Sales and/or marketing experience
  • Computer and internet proficiency, especially proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • An aptitude for learning, coaching, and persuasion
  • An attitude of persistence and a “can-do” attitude
  • A good phone voice combined with the ability to speak clearly and communicate well by phone for 6-8 hours per day
  • Proficient communication in English (verbal and written); excellent grammar and spelling; some occasional domestic travel may be required for insurance industry events
  • Experience working with a CRM (Customer Relations Management system)
